If I ever get the privilege [?] of choosing between these two, I'll always choose Porsche!

because

it is more practical, more suitable for daily use, easier to maintain and comparatively cheaper (if bought used)

Regarding Wow! factor, I think then we need to compare between Lambo and Ferrari.

Ferrari is past its prime...

I was a huge fan of ferrari... But, their current line- up fails to impress, and is not desirable anymore...

Porsche... They are still porsche... Not as elusive as Lambo in looks... But still, no enthusiasts will mistake a porsche for another car...

I havent had a chance to even have a ride in either of these, but, i wish to own a Porsche, someday... (After getting a few lambos in my garage)

Would sincerely like to know... what exactly is wrong with their current lineup? They are getting rave reviews everywhere from Topgear to Fifthgear.

it would be Porsche for me any time. i wouldnt want to be seen with a ferrari with its hood up on a highway trying to sort out what is wrong with the vehicle.

Porsche is know for its reliability and would serve me well as i would like to drive my car as long as it lasts.

Nt taht I dont like Ferrari, Id still go for a Porsche anyday because of its practicality and everyday use potential at a lesser investment.

I'd take the Porsche. Aren't they cheaper?!

If I want a true exotic, I'd buy a Lamborghini. After talking to my bank manager, of course.

Ferrari for me...if i had the money to buy any of these beauties, i would certainly not care about practicality. So ferrari it is for me!

A Red Ferrari, thats my dream,
If I can't get one, I shall scream
Need I say more? A Porsche will never inspire poetry, wherein, a Ferrari is poetry in motion. There's more to a car than brute engineering, it has to has a soul

Ditto here ...... Porsche anyday for its practicality , cutting edge technology and we ought to remember we live in india and porsche's are proven to run flawlessly in indian conditions (bumper to bumper traffic without overheating issues) too (atleast up until now) ..
