Those who have seen the model help us that it has size and lines that resemble the Jeep Renegade.

Toyota has begun to develop its dream compact SUV for Brazil. The brand already quota with suppliers parts for its development. Model will have hybrid 1.8 engine

The model will be built from the Entry Family Car (EFC) platform already used by the Etios and Yaris lines. The SUV will be manufactured in Sorocaba (SP).
Hybrid:

In common with the new Corolla, Toyota's new compact SUV will feature the hybrid Flex 1.8 engine in two top-of-the-line versions.

Still not confirmed what will be the other SUV engine besides the hybrid. Thus, there are options 1.5 and the 1.8 Flex used in GLI versions in the current generation of the Corolla

Even if this CUV is coming to India, they are very late to the party. The way Toyota has established itself in India where they are perceived as a UV maker able to command good premium on solid products like Crysta and Fortuner, there is no doubt they would have gained immense market share with products like RAV4 and the Rush had they been launched in India. It is difficult to fathom what market research data is fed from India office to Toyota Japan the result of which is the Yaris launch. Same is the case with Honda, look at the priorities, Civic, C-RV and not the HR-V. Meanwhile Maruti and Hyundai are having all the laughs here.

This doesn't matter, although I 100% agree with you that Toyota India is too slow & lethargic.

There is no problem that a good product / car / SUV cannot solve. The Compact SUV market will continue to be popular; in fact, I think it'll steal even more market-share from hatchbacks & sedans around it. My worry here would be different = while Toyota has an enormous portfolio worldwide, the lazy Indian team has been reluctant to bring interesting products to India. Now, with the Suzuki tie-up and easy access to rebadged products, will Toyota India be further demotivated in bringing its international cars here?

I doubt this will come to India at all. Don't they already have the easier route to rebadge the Brezza and launch here? Investment on 'T' badges is already done. Thanks to the glanza, all they need is slap the badges on grill, rear hatch & steering wheel and voila!!! A new SUV ready to hatch
