Looks like a KIGER inspired one to me. The interior pic attached seems to be of Jeep Compass, there is Jeep logo too.

Fiat new Small Crossover called the SuvFiat for the time being because the Stellantis brand is asking fans to choose the final name at Link

Limited to three options: Tuo, Domo, Pulse. The name to get the most votes in the coming days will become a badge on the company's new B-segment crossover once it will go on sale in Brazil this September.

How I wish they had got these models in India

I liked the looks of this SUV, looks very proportionate and well designed. If this was sold in India, it would have sold well (assuming the engine specs would be decent enough) The alloys remind me of some other car sold in India, but I can't recollect which one. Fiat did make this fundamental mistake of not bringing in their latest cars in India and they paid for it the second time. Probably third time lucky? Keeping my fingers crossed that they enter the Indian market again with some really good cars.

Re: Fiat SUV based on Argo platform for Brazil in 2021

Is it me or does this Fiat SUV remind you of the Vauxhall Mokka? The Stellantis tie up is still too new for this to already be a Fiat worked former PSA group platform.

The previous gen Vauxhall Mokka. What my immediate thought was when I saw the new Fiat compact SUV above in that similar front three-quarters view

Obviously the current gen Mokka is very different and it's unlikely Fiat would use an older platform. I'm going to assume it's using the Jeep Renegade underpinnings. Sure has that distinctive Jeep Compass esque rear quarter glass treatment.

Brazil: New Fiat compact-SUV to be called Pulse

Fiat has announced that its new compact-SUV will be called 'Pulse'. The new Fiat Pulse was unveiled earlier this year, codenamed 'Progetto 363' and is expected to go on sale in the Brazilian market later this year.

The Italian carmaker held an online public poll, allowing prospective customers to choose the name for the new SUV. Of the three names shortlisted, the 'Pulse' name won the poll with 65% of the votes. The other two names were Domo and Tuo, both of which managed just 25% and 10% of the votes, respectively.

The new Fiat Pulse is expected to be underpinned by the brand's new modular platform, called MLA. The new platform is said to be stiffer and stronger than the previous PM1 architecture. The new platform is also said to be capable of incorporating newer technologies such as hybrid and 4x4 powertrains in the future.

The company also announced that the Pulse will have a length of around 4 metres, positioning it below the Jeep Renegade SUV, in FCA's global line-up.

The Fiat Pulse will come powered by two engine options. These include a 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine producing 109 BHP and 140 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The second engine is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit churning out 120 BHP and 196 Nm, mated to a CVT transmission.

If Fiat India could simply give the entire design to Toyota or Maruti and take some share on profits, this will set the sales on fire.

That is not needed, just put the Jeep Badge on to it and sell it here in India. That also will sell like hotcakes ..

Pulse name was used here by Renault. Pulse, Pulsar, Impulse, X-pulse all used up as well. Now Fiat has to launch it as Repulse if ever they return to India.

Considering the way in which both Fiat has treated the Indian market and the Indian market has treated them, it wouldn't be the least bit ironic should Repulse ever be considered as a name.

Personally though I think the no brainer move as others have suggested is to simply badge this a Jeep and bring it to market. If it's designed for the LATAM market, it should presumably not have the high build costs of Fiat's primarily targeted for Europe. In which case it should do tidy sales in India. Don't Jeep plan on bringing in a 7 seat Compass? Well if they're planning on going higher, have this go lower than the Compass and they have a sensible little line up. Ah but I used the word sensible and for some reason Fiat in India have an aversion or shall I say repulsion to sensibility.

Re: Fiat SUV based on Argo platform for Brazil in 2021

This suvFiat looks decent enough to compete in the crowded pseudo SUV here. However, FCA wont be interested to bring it here. Even if they bring it, they are masters in making it fail in India.

Somethings never change.
