Looks more of a cross hatch than a compact SUV.
I find that it looks similar to Toyota Etios Cross from the side profile, especially the door and the view mirror designs.

A FIAT dealer from South America is my facebook friend and as per what I have seen in his photos, FIAT has this type of huge logo in South America/ Argentina for some time now.

Since late 2020 however, FIAT has adopted this as their new logo worldwide as far as I know.

FIAT PULSE officially revealed:










- 1.0 turbo engine that will equip the Pulse as the top spec., cheaper versions will equip the 1.3 aspirated engine of 109 hp and 14.2 kgfm that will be under the hood.

- the Turbo 200 Flex will deliver 130 hp (125 hp with gasoline) and 20.4 kgfm of torque, working together with an automatic transmission type CVT that simulates 7 gears.

-Fiat Pulse will be born as the most powerful produced in the country, surpassing the 128 hp of Volkswagen's 1.0 TSI, when supplied with ethanol.

-The difference is greater with gasoline, as the Fiat Pulse 2022 will deliver 125 hp, while VW models have 116 hp with the same fuel.

- The torque is the same, of 20.4 kgfm,with the difference in the rotation range in which it is delivered. In Fiat's compact SUV, total torque will be available from 1,750 rpm, while in German-branded cars, the 20.4 kgfm comes at 2,000 rpm.

- The Asin gearbox will work with the new turbo engine: an automatic transmission type CVT and with 7 simulated gears

- The new transmission will feature three modes of operation. Automatic mode takes care of changing simulated gears, while the Manual allows the driver to control the CVT. The third option is Sport, which also handles throttle response, steering and stability control, as well as changing the gear change time.

-Pulse with the turbo 1.0. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 9.4 seconds

- Fueled with gasoline, will make 12 km / liter in the city and 14.6 km / liter on the road.

Fiat Pulse, arrives in 5 versions with prices ranging from R$ 79,990( ~INR 1069783) in the base version, to R$ 115,990 (~ INR 1551246) at the top of the range, Impetus, with 200 Turbo Flex engine.

The model adopts components of the Argo, and the MLA platform, which, according to Fiat, is new in the Stellantis Group.

The Fiat Pulse makes the debut of a new engine and gearbox set. The 1.0 turbo T200, 3-cylinder, is a version of the T270 that we have already detailed in the Toro and Jeep Compass. It has direct injection, MultiAir system on admission, turbo and is the most powerful 1.0 turbo on the market, with 125/130 hp and 20.4 kgfm of torque, here the same as the VW 200 TSI.

Base variants will be with aspirated 1.3 1.3 Firefly, widely used in the Fiat range and capable of delivering 98/107 hp and up to 13.7 kgfm of torque. It may be associated with the 5-speed manual transmission or the CVT transmission.

I am just being very optimistic here. I just hope that Fiat comes back to India. I have at least another 2 years left with my Punto, if they come back it will be an awesome replacement for my Punto. If not, it will mostly be a Tata or a Mahindra for me.

Fiat 376 (SUV-coupe)

This is the so-called Project 376, an SUV based on the Pulse platform, but with a more sporty aesthetic and with slightly larger dimensions. It will have an SUV-coupe silhouette to compete in the same segment as the VW Nivus. While the Pulse offers aspirated 1.3 engines and 1.0 turbo, the new SUV should have the base versions already with the 1.0 turbo, while the 1.3 turbo is expected to stay for the top-of-the-line version.

Fiat prepares the FIAT PULSE ABARTH.

Fiat Pulse Abarth expected to be released soon with 1.3 turbo engine.

it seems that now the Pulse Abarth really should come out of the oven. And that should happen as early as the next few months.

The statement says only that Fiat is expected to unveil in the coming months a plan to "poison" its dealer network. The text also mentions "sting", mentioning the scorpion stinger, symbol used by Abarth cars on the emblem since the founder, Carlo Abarth, began offering performance kits back in 1949 for fiat models.

The future Fiat Pulse Abarth is expected to adopt the well-known 1.3 turboflex engine already used on the Fiat Toro and Jeep Compass models. In utilities, the propellant delivers up to 185 hp of power and 27.5 kgfm of torque - numbers that should ensure good performance for the pulse's size. Still, the possibility of a new hit, with even more power and strength, is not ruled out.

The suspension will also be reworked and will be fully performance-focused calibration. Compared to the other versions, the Pulse Abarth will behave optimally in curves and situations of greater body requirement. In addition, the brakes will be modified to account for the extra power and ensure maximum safety.

Man, Brazil is lucky, they have a nice line up of Fiat's and we are deprived all these. FCA India one variant of jeep in the showrooms and dream of being a best seller

First they killed the Fiat brand and now Jeep is in the same path.
