Re: Fiat SUV based on Argo platform for Brazil in 2021

Fiat Pulse Abarth: Sports SUV unveiled and arrives at the end of the year.

Abarth is now a brand. Pulse will be the first Abarth in Brazil as a brand, as well as being the division's first SUV in the world.

The Pulse Abarth will be the first model to have the signature of the sports division in Brazil in a different strategy than was made at the time of Stilo Abarth and 500 Abarth, now really treated as a brand.

Quote:
Abarth will have the same treatment in Brazil as it has abroad. As another brand within the group, will have dedicated dealers, but always within a Fiat - the forecast is up to 50 dealers to serve customers. Within the showroom, an Abarth area will display models and products of the brand, in addition to having specialized sellers to serve customers who, as happens abroad, will be segmented

Quote:
Its look is marked by the unique bumpers, beehive grille with the coat of arms of the scorpion Abarth, wheels (apparently) of 18", auxiliary lights at the bottom of the bumper, while the rear brings air extractor and double exhaust outlet.

On the trunk cover is written ABARTH instead of the traditional FIAT in full. The small SUV also appeals to the red paint that is present in the bottom frieze of the front bumper, rearview covers and the Abarth adhesive at the base of the doors. The ceiling is still painted black, tint repeated by the rear spoiler
No mechanical details of the Pulse Abarth have yet been released, but it is likely to be the 1.3 turbo, original with up to 185 hp, can be prepared to gain more power or at least engine and transmission responses, in addition to the recalibrated suspension and steering to meet the sportsmanship proposal.

Re: Fiat SUV based on Argo platform for Brazil in 2021

I can't understand what is the point of having multiple brands? Abarth being seperate from Fiat, Cupra seperate from Seat, DS seperate from Citreon makes some sense, but the other two?

The Abarth Pulse has 185 hp of power.

Quote:
Under the hood the newcomer hides a 1.3 GSE Turbo engine with 185 hp in combination with a six-speed manual gearbox. With 270 Nm of maximum torque this model should have a very good ride, lowering the eight seconds in the 0 to 100 km / h.

Fiat Pulse to get Latin NCAP rating in November, crashed car seen in background of video after Latin NCAP revealed in an interview that they tested a Fiat in early September. Stellantis is claimed to have cooperated better during testing than they did with other products from the group. The Pulse has as standard: 4 airbags (2 frontal, 2 side thorax-head combination), ESC, three-point belts for all and i-Size approved rear seats. AEB is available only on the Pulse Impetus.
