For all those wishing this car comes to India, I doubt it will be priced sanely even if it comes here. In all probability, this one will be sold as a halo product alongside the Mustang.

Nice car though, I like it when manufacturers stick to the original personality of the car when they relaunch a brand name again.

Yes , this is not recognizable as a Bronco. Neither this nor is the TATA Sierra coming back, they are just too impractical to use it in their original avatar however cool it looks.

Maybe the only way they could have retained the original design was by creating a compact 2 door version, something of the size of Jimny.

Amazing looking car. If I could afford it, I would buy it with my eyes closed. But if it does come to India, it will likely have one of those anaemic engines that are ubiquitous in this country. Especially because diesel engines are past their prime here.

Even when diesels were popular, we were still all about smaller engines. I am a firm believer in the “no replacement for displacement” thumb rule, and have therefore not liked 95% of our offerings.

If you like cars and have money to spend, the US is the place to be.

I really hope they bring it to India and price it competitively so that one day I can get my hands on jeeps like this.

But, it kind of reminds me of the new defender, mostly due to the design language being boxy

Anyways, Ford is extremely competitive and aggressive in their homeland but pretty relaxed here in India.

Ford hear us out and get us that Bronco.

This is a unibody Ford Escape based crossover named the Bronco Sport to cash on whats going to be a Ford Blockbuster. It literally has nothing to do with the Bronco other than the name. Not one part shared.

The manual on one of the engines is 7 speed with a twist.
There are 6 regular forward speeds and a Crawl gear (a super-low gear made for “crawling” over rocks and tough terrain).

Exactly. The Sports version is a unibody vehicle, based on the Ford Escape platform. It is just leveraging the Bronco name, but is a soft roader meant more for urban jungle.
