With so many polarizing opinions on offer, Hyundai has surely stirred the hornet's nest with the new Elantra. I'll just leave this picture here of the last three generations of the Elantra - one that shows how Hyundai's compact sedan has moved over the last decade.

P.S: I'm a fan of the fifth-generation model that debuted with the 'Fluidic Sculpture' design language.

6th gen is definitely more mature with a corporate look. That would be my pick but the 7th gen is getting sporty. Although its a little lost between a corporate & a sport identity.

Civic has no qualms about looking sporty & loving it! Engines do fail it, no doubt about that.

Hyundai Elantra N Line Debuts



Elantra N Line powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 201 HP and 265 NM. It is available with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch.

Elantra N Line comes with a suite of driver assistance tech. It includes forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane following assist, high beam assist, driver attention warning, blind spot assist, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist.

It will arrive in dealers in December starting at around $27,000.

2022 Hyundai Elantra N revealed.



Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 276 hp and 392 Nm, paired to an eight-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Unlike the i20 N, i30 N, and Veloster N, the Elantra N isn’t available with a manual transmission.



With the N Grin Shift mode enable, boost pressure from the engine is increased, bumping up power to 285 hp and launching the car to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.



The car also features a launch control system and offers the same N Grin Shift, N Power Shift, and N Track Sense Shift modes as other Hyundai N models with DCTs.



Hyundai Elantra N comes with an updated infotainment system and new seats with reinforced bolsters and customers can also option bucket seats that sit 10 mm lower.

Finally, for hot sedan lovers, an alternative to the Subaru WRX sedan! Not everyone wants a hot hatch.

Since the demise of the Lancer Evolution, WRX sedan has had no direct competitor. The WRX hatch, of course, has many like the Golf GTI, Focus RS etc.

The ageing WRX has had very little development and still sells off its old legend basis and those WRX vs Evo WRC fights.
