The Targa has always been so unique even for a 911 variant!

The instrument cluster has taken a quantum leap from the 991 generation, so much better now. Though I liked the 'naturally aspirated analogueness' of the previous gens. Now its all teutonic twin-turbo stuff.

Herr Frank Stephen Walliser, head of the 911 series mentioned in an interview with Total 911 magazine that they are looking at reducing body weight and changing some ‘bits & pieces’ on the 992 turbo and even Carreras as per customer demand (these guys take feedback quite seriously). Sounds very much like the RS path to me.

Found these images on the web regarding the rumored 911 turbo RS variant sporting the nostalgic and very 'Porsche' like duck tail rear spoiler, reminder of the iconic 2.7 RS of the '70s!
