Suzuki Across arrives in Europe even before the arrival of Toyota RAV4 PHEV.


















- 800 units planned for 2020.
- Strong bookings in Norway. Starts delivery.

Until the arrival of this model, the 4.30 m long Suzuki S-Cross was the brand's largest proposal, this Across reaches 4.63 in length.

In addition to its low consumption and emission level, in the dynamic plane the new Across stands out for offering great ride smoothness . When driving in electric mode it is very quiet but even with the combustion engine working, the cabin continues to be well soundproofed

The performance is outstanding taking advantage of its enormous cavalry, being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.0 seconds . The maximum speed is 180 km / h. There is also a Trail mode for off-road driving that benefits traction.

First model from partnership between Japanese firms is plug-in hybrid SUV with four-wheel drive and 302bhp.

The new model will go on sale next month, priced from £45,999, but Suzuki said that supply will be "very limited" in its first full year on sale.

If it's just a rebadged Rav4, it would be fine, since it has the Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

But if they have redesigned the bumper completely, which may or may not have reorganized or reshaped the crumple zones in front, then yes, we have to await another crash test score.

But, will we get it? Won't we get it? Shouldn't we get it? We should get it... Come onnn SUZUKI!
