According to a media report, the VW Tiguan Allspace could be replaced with the Tayron in Europe.

The report is based on a leaked internal document that states that the Tayron will be assembled at VW's Wolfsburg factory in Germany and could replace the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace. Production is expected to commence in 2024. Therefore, it is believed that the European car is likely to be based on the next generation Tayron.

The Tayron is a 7-seater SUV that is currently sold in the Chinese market. It is based on the MQB platform. In Europe, the car will be positioned between the Tiguan and the Touareg. It could get a few modifications to better suit the market requirements.

At present, the Tiguan Allspace for the European market is imported from Mexico.

Off topic, but what's between VW brand and letter T.

Taigun, Tiguan, Touareg and now this Tayron. Aren't these cars enough confusing to differentiate with these similar sounding names just adding more chaos.

Looks like any VW except for the wavy line on the sides. With its sloping rear glass, will it be 7 seater ? Like the ground clearance though.

All SUVs start with 'T'. Thats what they have decided to follow.
