I don't think there would be separate booking process even if facelift is launched later this year. There is already a long wait list (for some models, it is 8-10months). So if you are keen to buy Creta (even if you are only looking for facelift model) then get in touch with the dealer and plan accordingly.

From what I got from the local Hyundai dealer (and) youtube auto channels, Creta facelift is only going to be launched in 2023 in India. And the waiting time for the current Creta has gone upto a year from 6 months. Add both and getting our hands on a Creta facelift looks far, far away.

This is what I heard from dealer too.

Present gen creta went on sale from March 2020,there has been no major facelift( except new variants and knight edition) or feature addition after that,Three years is a good time for a major facelift. Hector's facelift is around the corner, Taigun and kushaq has proven to be safer choice, Hybrid twins from Maruti / Toyota is selling in good numbers. It is time for Creta's facelift, but more than features addition and cosmetic changes, Hyundai must make their best seller safer, if that happens, then there's very little to complaint about creta.

With ADAS and gizmos, top end could touch 24 L - OTR, that's xuv 700's AX7 territory!

I also think that the top version of the new Creta might reach around 24 Lakhs OTR. I am curious if consumers would be inclined to buy a Creta when they can get an XUV700 AX7 for just a few extra lakhs. While the Hyundai brand name can influence a person's purchasing decision, it's debatable if the premium is justified considering the Creta also has a lengthy waiting period, albeit potentially shorter than the XUV700.

I am so torn between the choice for current vs facelifted model. 2 dealers in Mumbai have top end 1.4 DCT readily available, which is making the decision even harder.

The following news article claims that they are getting rid of current model as the supply for this model has been stopped and the new stock comes in as early as March.

Are you in a hurry to get a car or can wait for few months for the facelift. Pricing would be on slightly higher side for the facelift vs 2022 model, are you ok with that?

Depending on these factors, you can decide.
