I find the Man TT the most interesting. I like the challenge of not knowing when the end is near.

The Isle of Man has a reputation of being the most "Reaper Friendly", "Satan Loving" event in the world.

Regards....

Hey RG

Isle of Man TT is a road going version of SuperBikes and Moto GP. It fields 1000-1200 cc engined bikes that run across roads of Isle of Man, an archipelago of islands. Too scary though. A biker loses his life every two years the sport is held for the last 100 odd years.

SBK is the more american form of Moto GP. Fields pretty much the same teams like Moto GP. But its losing its sheen now to Moto GP.

Moto GP is the one you and i see on Sundays when F-1 isnt going on. It fields 3 classes of bikes, 125, 250 and Moto GP. Moto GP bikes are 1000 cc bikes, 4-stroke. Valentino Rossi was last year's champion.

As for the last one, Shan2nu, if iam not wrong, isn't it dirt-biking?

No,
Super Sports are street bikes that have been prepared for racing. They race on the same tracks as SBK but are nowhere close to SBK and MotoGP in terms of speed and lap times.

No GTO. ESPN-Star don't show the Isle of Man TT. Earlier the used to show parts of it in International Motorsport, but of late, even if they have continued to air, I've not managed to catch it. I remember they used to telecast Touring Car Racing too from Aus, GBR and Germany. Now it's all gone..... SUCKS!

I've seen the Man TT on "Max Power" a few times. Now which channel does that come on I think it's "Star Sports"
