to me it seems to be nissan's effort to correct the mistake of overpricing murano (for the particular market segment). shape is same, dimensions are slightly on lower side, but the target market audience is still the same. seat quality has taken a hit in the cost cutting i feel.

Expect a new player soon, VW Tiguan.
