Looks good to my eyes. Now if only Honda stops being so stubborn and shows some flexibility, even at the cost of some margin, it's not difficult for them to find favour in the market. They have the brand recall and the products to do the talking - only if the management wakes up and launches the products as is here at competitive prices (global specs and features) - they can still reclaim their lost mojo!

They can always increase prices later on, but they need to be competitive to get showroom footfall first. Nothing drives potential customers to showrooms better than the news of a well priced product. Also, high time to understand that as long as customer cross shops within Honda family, it's their gain rather than protecting one product like a baby and ignoring others thereby driving away customers and potential sales

Even if these premium petrol/hybrids are offered in India, hope Honda will make the engine robust enough to handle the 20% or higher ethanol blended petrol which the Govt., is likely to introduce soon.

Any oversight can result in engine corossion and early failures with high ethanol blended gasoline.

That effect is due to the pictures being taken from the side and not dead centre of the car. The photographer was aligned to the side of the car, so the fish eye effect is giving that perception of the car being wider and the antenna being on one side.

Re: Next-gen Honda CR-V to receive significant updates; unveil expected in mid-2022

Give CR-V good engine options. Price it sensibly.

Do not discontinue the WR-V. Plonk the 1.5L petrol engine in WR-V and ensure you keep both manual and automatic variants in CR-V and WR-V.

Give Jazz a facelift instead of discontinuing it. Amaze and Honda City continue their steady numbers. That would give Honda a strong, even a winning portfolio. Wishful thinking perhaps but it might work better for them and consumers too.

Hope their management is listening and I am not going too off topic here.

Honestly, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has ruined Honda’s signature taillight for me…this CRV looks exactly like a Suzuki now.

Finally Honda removed the overdose of Chrome. Excess chrome has passed its fame. Guess Honda is still going to stick to Hybrid-only and not go the PHEV route. Hope it's grown in size.

That looks pretty nice to me. I hope they get the pricing right and I hope they bring that blue for the Honda city as well.

Re: Next-gen Honda CR-V to receive significant updates; unveil expected in mid-2022

I'm really liking these new generation Honda interiors. Seeing how the last one sold here was a sales dud (overpriced, especially for the 1.6 diesel), I don't think it's going to be brought here anytime soon. Shame really, Honda has such an attractive global portfolio, yet it simply refuses to make an effort to launch them here. They have a lot of potential to become a runaway success, if priced and equipped appropriately.

I'd love to see more "global" Hondas here, this new CR-V included.

Just a day before Tucson is officially unveiled, coincidence?

Re: Next-gen Honda CR-V to receive significant updates; unveil expected in mid-2022

Man I just love the new Honda interior and exterior designs!

The slim headlights on Civic and upcoming Accord reminds me of the classy old Honda's of the mid to late 1990's and early 2000's.

Also glad that they have a gear-stick and not a button like we had for the CRV in India (some markets seemed to have the stick though.)

I wish the future generation Amaze, City and whatever they launch next here are also as classily designed as these.

Very classy!

The 3 bezel ACC looks similar to current city and the steering design also has not changed much.
