Does this share a Fusion chassis by chance?

Don't think so, since Mitsu and Ford have no tie-up!

I liked this design of Colt, it is quite sleek and elegant!

very interesting looking car indeed. However if launched here the pricing will probably be too high to compete effectively in the B+ segment.

Maggie, why did you ask about its chassis? Is it the back of the car? It reminds too much of the Fusion, does it?

Colt is a cute car, perfect for 2 passengers actually. Been in one before. The little bend in the hood right over the huge logo, reminds me of the Honda City's hood (between OHC and present HC)

No. But this platform was developed in partnership with Daimler-Chrysler & thus the same is used by Mitsubishi for the Colt and Smart for the now defunct For-four.

Looks like an Innova from front and the Fusion from behind.

Zap - the way seemingly new and disconnected cars are designed these days all looking like each other's brother/cousin, I wouldnt be surprised if they share a single common parent

Very Fusion-ish from the rear, and front looks exactly like the Cedia.
While the pics were uploading, i was imagining/hoping it would take on some design cues from the new Evo series, and hence be a perfect hot hatch. Alas !!
