Check this interesting piece of news, mercedes is always trying to compete with every single product out there, but still never come up with something that is class leader, SLR also didnt turn out to be class leader, lets hope they realize this and go in the right direction by providing a top notch product in the class, the only example i can think of is S or may be even CLS as it was the only one in its class..

Take a look at MB SLC a coupe which is trying to be light weight and go against the Audi R8 probably the 550 hp version set to come out next year..
