Looks OK. Nothing spectacular!

Looks kinda macho from the front. But i dont like the rear! Specially that 'zen estilo' like cut that runs at the rear.

lotta buttons alright!

The central console is carbon fibre???

So basically after 7 years Toyota's styling department took the same old shape, added a few Camry-esque streches & bulges & came up with a brand new car!!!

Kudos to you guys, for the dumb wittedness!!

After the delicious Camry, I thought Toyotas design department has finally "got it"! Guess not because this is just another bland SUV design from them. Looks more like an evolution rather than an entirely new car.

You sure that, these guys designed the Camry, or did it roll off from some European Design studio?? May be it did, and inspired Toyota'd design dept to come up with something like this now.

I don't like it. The exteriors are very bad. They should have come up with somehting better, definitely after the Camry and the NEW Corolla (Camry-ish)that we keep seeing on the websites.

The old one's rear looked more sorted. This rear looks a bit messy.

Looks like a magnified RAV4.Front and interior are good, not sure about the rear.

Overall less macho..but all SUVs today seem to be losing their manhood..I guess metrosexual is in!

I loved the previous styling of the Landcruiser..it had a more defined look!

This one seems to have some influence from the RAV4, the 4Runner & the Sequoia. It doesn't stand out in terms of design. I the 4runner has a better image than this Landcruiser. I think a majority of consumers would rather go in for the Nissan X-terra or the Mitsubishi Outlander..they have much better looks (albeit, they belong to the segment of the RAV4s, Honda Highlander etc..)

Toyota's not gonna get an edge over others...

This car would only look good in black with around 24" wheels. It's far too top heavy.

Rear looks fugly. Side reminds me of the Pajero/Shogun. Front is so-so, an evolution of the present.

a few more observations:

1. Side profile resembles RAV4.
2. Viewed from side-on the headlights look like the ones on the new Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero.
3. Facia is cluttered, too many buttons.
4. Rear more rounded than the present landcruiser.
5. The bulging headlamp design stand out like warts, very much unlike the Camry.
6. Old school macho SUV image lost.

I wonder how the 'less macho' persona will go down with die-hard landcruiser owners.
