Bugatti has become the latest supercar brand to start selling certified pre-owned cars.

The French car brand recently launched its certified pre-owned car program for its Veyron and Chiron models. Bugatti is said to have a series of comprehensive inspections to determine if a car is eligible to get its certified pre-owned label.



Once received, Bugatti will offer these vehicles with a one-year warranty, covering various aspects. For the Chiron, the warranty covers all parts & labour for mechanical, electrical and paint-related repairs, while the Veyron gets warranty coverage for its parts & labour for mechanical and electrical repairs. The warranty is also said to be valid worldwide.



Owners of certified pre-owned Bugatti cars will get a free annual service, which needs to be claimed within a year of the purchase date. Bugatti will also allow all its authorised dealers to sell the pre-owned cars.

Bugatti now joins a list of supercar brands which offer a certified pre-owned program, which includes the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari & Rolls Royce.

This sounds more like a bid to buy up bugattis and control the price. There are probably around 750-1000 of these ever produced from it's inception in FY2005.
