Ferrari registers new annual sales record in 2022

Ferrari has released its annual financial results for the previous year. According to reports, the company managed to set a new sales record delivering 13,221 units, compared to 11,155 units in 2021.

The Italian supercar brand also registered a net profit of 939 million euros in 2022, compared to 833 million euros in 2021. The total revenue of the company in 2022 was 5.095 billion euros, a 19 per cent increase from 2021. Of the total revenue, 4.342 billion euros came in from vehicle and spare parts sales, while the Prancing Horse branding & sponsorship deal was the second-largest revenue generator bringing in 479 million euros.

Ferrari states that Europe, the Middle East & Africa region brought in the highest sales in 2022. This region saw 5,958 units being delivered. The Americas brought in 3,447 units of sales, while Mainland China, Hong Kong & Taiwan regions purchased 1,552 cars. The rest of the Asia-Pacific market bought 2,264 units from the supercar brand.

The Maranello-based supercar brand is expecting sales & revenue to further increase in 2023. The company expects to close 2023 with a net revenue estimated at 5.7 billion euros, which includes money from its racing & lifestyle activities. Another reason for the high expectations is the brand's recently unveiled Purosangue - the brand's first four-door crossover.

The Ferrari Purosangue is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine producing 715 BHP and 716 Nm, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Deliveries for the Purosangue are expected to begin this year, with Ferrari confirming that the product already has a two-year waiting list and has temporarily stopped accepting further orders.
