One of the first all-new electric SUVs to launch in North America is the Jeep Recon.

This all-new vehicle is aimed at those who love to explore extreme adventures almost quietly with a rugged, all-electric vehicle package.

The Jeep Recon is designed from the ground up to be 100% Jeep 4×4 and 100% zero emissions. This SUV will be offered exclusively as a BEV and will enhance off-road adventures with:

True trail capability with Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system, e-locker axle technology, underbody protection, towing hooks and aggressive off-road tires
Authentic Jeep outdoor freedom with one-touch power roof, removable doors and glass
The state-of-the-art Uconnect system, including detailed travel guides to the most outstanding off-road trails


"The new all-electric Jeep Recon has the ability to cross the mighty Rubicon Trail, one of the most challenging off-road trails in the U.S. and reach the end of the trail with enough range to drive back into town and recharge," Meunier said.

This global SUV will be shown to the public this year and production will begin in 2024 in North America. U.S. customers will be able to make a reservation for the new Jeep Recon BEV SUV in early 2023. The Jeep Recon will be sold in major markets around the world, including Europe.

2024 Jeep Recon Electric Off-Roader revealed at Stellantis dealer event.

Stellantis' Invite-only event in Las Vegas introduced dealers to the cars they’ll be selling in the next few years including the Jeep Recon and Wagoneer EVs.

Recon isn’t designed to replace the Wrangler, but will sit alongside it in the lineup and will only be available as an EV. It’s built around the new Stellantis STLA Large EV platform and will come with proper off-road goodies like e-locker axle technology, Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management, chunky trail rubber, tow hooks, and underbody protection.
