the Liana sedan cud be a hit in India if MUL chooses to get it here. Agreed that the overall looks are like those of the Indigo. But imagine this car with a 1.6 L Baleno engine , it'll eat up the competition.

I second that V12. The Liana apparently has an amazing chassis, and is a truly new world car (unlike all the maruti products being sold currently). Its very spacious from the inside (New Honda City philosophy), has some great powerplants, decent suspension and can prove to be just what Indian buyers are looking for in the 6 lac segment.

Maruti, go fetch it right now

The Liana might just be a great replacement for the Baleno. If we have a couple of engine options of 1.6 and 1.8 and a competitive price could put it head on with the Optra and Marutis service could put it up ahead of the Optra. I guess this is the car Maruti should get in immediately.

Cheers
