I recently saw some pics and read a review (in Auto Motor und Sport) of the new A1 which is to be launched in Germany and that has LED lights as well. I guess all new launches will come with LED lights.

The car looks promising, only gripe is its a FWD car. Why dont Audi build RWD? Either its FWD or its AWD, common give us RWD.

Oh yeah only the 2.0 is going to make it here.

And...... it looks exactly like the old one!! Looks like Audi's styling department is taking tips from Porsche's styling department these days!
I think porsche has some stake in Audi or something like that?

Audi's 2.0 turbo is FWD. The quattro AWD is optional. The Audi 3.2 is AWD default. And this has been going on for a while its not new.

Oh God that rear end looks ugly! Just like a stupid 3 series, but the front is nice and muscular. And what are the blue things on the headlamps?

Ok, I could settle for one of those. Very happily.

Even a 1.8 would probably do me!

The one thing I'm not sure about is that line of LEDs which, to me, looks a bit Boy-Racer... a touch out of place on a Real Grown-Up's car! But maybe they look good at night.

I do get confused with these Audi model numbers: I think I drove an A4 for a couple of days back in 2004. Had to travel to Cambridge, from London, for a course, and the company's beat-up old Toyota wouldn't start. Oh dear, only other available car was the MD's brand new Audi... what a shame! And what a shame that I had less than one-hour trip to do in it, although I did spend one whole evening driving around London --- a delight.
