Skyline GT anyone?

I am surpised that no one till now has brought forth the name of Nissan Skyline GT. Given its sober looks it will go well at a Corporate gathering as well as be a fun weekend car.

How about this? The Austin Healey 3000:

1966 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8

Or maybe this, the TATA E-Type:

I spent the day at the British motor heritage museum recently and say a Jaguar XJ220. I never truly appreciated what they were all about until I saw it. Ferrari and Lambo's are tiny by comparison. This thing is huge... and the power was jaw droppingly fast!

A Fiat 500 Abarth SS for daily use because:
  • Looks Great.
  • Has all modern day security systems, safety equipment (amounting to 9 air bags).
  • Easy to park.
  • Adequate power from Abarth.
  • Lots and lots of configuration options.
  • Seats 2 comfortably.
  • Can be driven in breakneck traffic without overheating unlike most of the cars listed here.
  • Gives good fuel economy.
  • Compact measurements: 355cm long, 165cm wide, 149cm tall and a wheelbase of 230cm.
Perfect car. Now can somebody make it available for 5 lakhs on road

For me it would be the 911 Turbo. God its good looking and can be used everyday. It totally makes me drool.

And Aston Martin DB9(actually most of the AMs are pretty good looking) and Jaguar XKR give me goose pimples as well.

Edit: For an everyday car, I think the G35 coupe is pretty good.

Guys remember its the "everyday" car.
It will be the car in which you will be going grocery shopping, traveling within city and more importantly parking in tight areas.

I would choose Ford Mondeo 4 door sedan the European version.

These are specs of the Ford Mondeo European version. Where in Pune would you find comfortable parking for this vehicle in tight areas as mentioned above:

Overall Length: 4778 mm
Wheelbase: 2850 mm
Overall Height: 1500 mm
Width (excl. Door Mirrors): 1886 mm

an everyday car needs to have 4 doors and be practical to use for any occassion b'day, opera recital, pub, disco, launge, party, office or even a funeral.

maserati quattroporte sports gt-s / executive gt auto

audi s8

jaguar s type/ x
merc s 65 tuned by brabus
bentley flying spur

bmw 760li / m5
lincoln navigtor
chrysler 300c
rolls royce phantom

all of the above strictly in plain jet black.

I don't know if even less than half of the cars mentioned in this thread qualify as everyday cars. To me everyday cars are daily drivers and should be reliable and fun to drive in Indian cities (esp. Mumbai).

My everyday car is a W123 Mercedes-Benz 300D. She is bold, great for company and assures me to no extent. I feel good driving her. The drive has been always enjoyable and trust me, I seldom turn on the radio.
