Who is your friend kidding? Cars may be banned from Saudi for not having enough power to do doughnuts, but NEVER for too much power.

You cannot import a 6.0 litre Holden from the States because its not sold as a Holden in the States. In any case every large capacity Holden made is sold in the middle east as a Chevrolet.

Steer, that is wonderful news. At that price, the car looks too tempting.

Do let us know when you get the car and share a review with us.

Good luck!

Not sure how the maintenance factor comes up here, especially about the NSX. The NSX has had a few issues with it earlier. Not as easy as a Civic, for sure. The 2009(?) NSX promises to be one helluva machine, though.

Probably because they like to have their own identity? They have their own strengths - big engines with huge amounts of torque, minimal electronics and driver assist, no zero-tolerance gadgetry that may leave you high and dry with no help available other than from the manufacturer, good comfortable interiors that arent cramped, VERY low service costs (for eg., my regular service costs me between Dhs.300 and Dhs.1000 - very much in line with the Japs - while my colleague's S-Type Jag which cannot even pretend to be a fast car costs him Dhs.4,000 to Dhs.8,000 for a service) and cars that go like the stink at half the price.

Of course they have their own disadvantages like panels that dont fit as well as the Japs, door seals that need work now and again, an occasional rattle or two (even if very minor) and "performance" that still sell with regular 4-speed Auto Boxes. Nothing to take that smile off your face when you floor the accelerator, though.

Yeah, he got much more than he could probably handle now.
And this thread is really old to dig up and ask.
