I was planning to put 'Chevy Camaro with megan fox'

But that would have been grossly partial and garnered 100% votes.

Modern Muscle... The Charger, Camaro, Challenger and then the Interceptor. In that order.

I have voted for Japs. Whatever the Americans do, the Japs remain more fun. The americans bank more upon large capacity motors to give muscle. I think the Japs do a wonderful job of providing good performance cars that are enjoyable.
Its not always about highway drags, but its also about the pleasure and involvement in the drive.
The three cars I love, and the cars that were appreciated by the American motor magazines ( which was disliked by many american readers ) are
1) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo ( reached saturation in engine department ).
2) Subaru WRX.
3) Nissan GTR ( earlier it was Skyline GTR which according to many, was a Legend ).

i m a sucker for the charger, just because of its looks. it just looks mean and fierce. i cannot say the same for interiors.

does anyone own a 2006 - now charger r/t or srt8. i need some advice abt that because the are available cheaply and my heart is saying get one, but i m afraid it will not be a good car to drive in north easter united states winters.

Are you for real?

The Evo, WRX and GTR are in a totally different league. They have absolutely nothing to do with muscle, leave alone American muscle.

Muscle cars mostly have high displacement high horsepower engines with gobs of torque and a heavy duty transmission to withstand that torque.

Comparing Evolution to muscle cars is like comparing apples to oranges.

The Japanese have a different way of making cars enjoyable to drive. While the Evos and STi's are mostly rally derived cars with great handling, muscle cars have more to do with retro looks, great sound and that big V8 in front. Once you drive one of these, you know they mean business.

It's a totally different experience driving down some of the endless highways with that V8 growl in your ears, surrounded by a 70's retro interior and listening to some good old country music while you're at it.
