Default Ferrari F250

Quote:

Ferrari is very reluctant to admit it's working on an "entry-level" model that is rumored to be a successor to the Dino, so those of us who can't wait have to take matters into our own hands. Meet the Ferrari F250 Concept designed by Idries Omar, who says the low slung, mid-engine supercar you see before you was originally intended to be his take on a new Dino. But let's face it, the name "Dino" makes most people think of The Flintstones, so Omar instead crowned his creation the F250. Sure, it doesn't share much in common with the venerable 250 GTO after which it's named, but if we're already imagining Ferraris that don't exist, we should be able to name them whatever we want. Less artistic license was taken for the 250 GTO Concept's engine, which Omar imagines to be a 2.5L V6 that runs on biofuel. This part of his thought experiment is not as far off as you'd think. Ferrari just debuted the F430 Spider Bio Fuel in Detroit this week that runs on E85 ethanol.

The Dino, if it happens will be a front engine shared with bits from maserati. This one is clearly a mid engine. Good work on the rear. Front is a li'l mismash.

The front definitely has a few lines from the Quattraporte & the F430. The segment above the rear wheels similar to the Scagliette, but way more sharp.

Frontal glass area is Mcl F1/Enzoish. Rear three-q view is oh-so-Koenigsegg.

Arrey Baba, wouldn't members of the same family bear resemblance to each other?

Gosh, thats beautiful. The ground clearance is typically showcar-ridiculous, but otherwise, a beauty. Good job by Idries.

I haven't been to Fchat in a while but last I heard the reports doing the rounds were that this front-engined F149 car wasn't really the entry level car everyone was expecting. More like a baby 599 than a Dino replacement.

And the price would be around the F430 territory, not significantly cheaper but perhaps more expensive in some markets.

And that makes sense since Luca di M. is famous for saying that used Ferrari cars are their entry level model.

i dont expect everyone to agree with me ,but in my opinion this car doesnt look distinctly ferrari maybe beacuse its not in red,
or somehow its not original like the other ferraris

the car looks awesome, very sporty, good designing but no farrari appeal

Isnt it a bit "too much curvy"? Reminds me of an obese frog squatting flat... Or maybe the camera angles make me think so. The second snap really looks horrid.
