Not hard to see why. FD-chassis RX-7 engine in that thing is just mindblowing.

This is one car you either love or hate, my friend has one and unfortunately she hates it.

Most of the modded Beatles I’ve seen here were built in some wannabie artist’s backyard. I saw one pink Beatle with a Porsche Wale-tail and it looked absolutely disgusting.
I guess the best ones are the dune buggie Beatles which were raced in the Baja1000.
