I hope these aren't real pics, the boot looks so out of place ! And that chrome side strip is looks funny being placed at that sloping angle.

The grille needs to get more raked to match the overall theme of the car.

Anyone else here who misses old jagged Automatic Transmission gate that was there in the pre 2000 cars?
Looking at the above pictures, the auto trans gate looks so character less. Looks like something that has come out of a US/Asian luxury wannabe.

It's not as classy as a W124, but still, I like the look of the car. I think the rear resembles that of the Embera. Looks like designers around the world are running out of ideas.
The interiors seems alright, but, the controls placed on the steering wheel might be a hindrance. They don't seem well thought out. You'll need to take one hand off the wheel to press the horn. Again, after the Jag XF's futuristic interiors, these look rather old fashioned.

Remove the three-pointed badge on the new C-Class and no one would know that it's a Mercedes. Ditto for this new E-Class. The derrière is so korean!

I agree, this might be the start of the end with my love affair for affordable Mercedes! (I still think that some of their high models look good)
Once you remove the social attachment to a Mercedes, other brands do a much better job of style and finesse.

Merc seems to have been shaken up by the onslaught of it's competitors, and looks like having an identity crisis. Also, about the interiors, looks are subjective, but for me, look plain confused. As if it's trying to do so many things at the same time...and failing. Hope I am proved wrong!

Isn't the concept fascination a derivative of the upcoming E class?? That dashboard although form the concept looks very familiar to the renditions/pics of the upcoming E class...my guess this what it will exactly look like baring some color/material combo otherwise the shape and design look ditto.

Why is merc so hell bent upon pushing people to buy Audis?
This car looks disgusting. The rear is Accord meets Sonata meets some other amerigo car. Frustrati.

there was time when even without the three pointed star any tom, dick and harry will recognise a mercedes, because it had such a distinctive design.Sadly that doesnt seem to be the case any more.
