California Automotive Scene

I am moving around Sunnyvale California for the last few days. The exotics you see on the road are out of this world. The classics are phenomenal, a Porsche 356 I spotted running on Hwy 101 was a testimony for it. Corvettes are seen by the dozen, new Beetles twice the dozen, Chrysler 300's with bling bling wheels move around like nobody's business. I haven't spotted a Ferrari / Lambo yet. My company's CFO has a Black Ferrari F430 and he would be bringing it to office very soon. I just received my digi cam and its been a long 3 day wait for it. As soon as I got it, I went click click and all pics that follow are from the time I left office till I got home (say in about 15 minutes). I will keep updating this thread as often as I click pics. So far the cars I have driven in is a Dodge hatch with 8 inch stock speaker locations in all four doors (haven't seen the model name yet), Nissan Altima (picked up from the airport), an Infiniti sedan, a Hyundai Accent 3 door MT, Honda Accord V6, BMW z8. I will take a walk on El Camino road which has about 7-8 car showrooms of various marquees.

Sit back and enjoy:

Isn't that around El Camino? I saw a hell lot of them there. Like say 10 - 12 Mustangs parked side by side? There's more to see than just Mustangs.

Did you really drive/ride in a Z8 or is a typo for Z3/4? They sold like a 2500 or so Z8's in US and it would be a rare event to see one much less drive one.

Btw, go to el-camino real if you want to see Indian restaurants and not exotics. As far as I remember they don't have any luxury car show rooms on that road.

Yes its nearby. This is the main blvd which has Best Buy, Circuit City and the very very famed Malls Valley Fair and the ultra Posh Santana Row

Haha well in the US, Stangs, Vettes and Beetles aren't exotics...Neither is the Cayenne
So welcome to checking out regular American cars...Then again not everyone in the states has nice cars like these, Cali is blessed. Also Sunnyvale isn't one of the richer towns in Cali.

Hit up SD, SF, or PV to see some of the best cars ever!

Oops excitement doubled the value. Though I think it must be a Z3 more than a Z8.

Shalimar and Shaan is one of the favourites for our office staff. I never said El Camino had exotic car showrooms.

Googkle maps street view..

Slightly OT, however Google Maps "street view" option provides an excellent view of cars and shops in Bay Area. Think its now available in many cities.
See the picture below of a GM showroom in Stevens Creek. Another one on the picturesque CA-1 Highway. The dream road to drive on...
