God forbid, is it porn?
Even I was wondering what that was. Could be some picture of Hammond in a silly costume or something relating him or May to the homosexual community.

Is it a Suzuki Swift hanging upside down on the wall?

I thought it was the mini cooper, but the headlamps and bonnet (thats all i could see in the video) suggest it is the Swift used in the car ice-hockey challenge.

It is a Swift but I haven't seen it being used atleast in the 10th and 11th seasons ?

Can you post a youtube linky to this one ?

And regarding the episode the CLK black part was brilliant. Fully agree with JC about taking the car for a spin just at the brink of dawn, it is the best thing you can do to kick start your day and moreover there is no traffic.

Woohooo! I'd been downloading episode 1 and 2 for the last few days and it was finally done last night. Could'nt resist watching them both in one go immediately and slept late, and got late for office, again! The combination of JC, May and the Hamster is still as hilarious as ever.

TG is becoming boring

Somehow I can't help but feel that recent TG episodes have become more of automotive circus than informative car shows

Unless they can show things like Polar Challenge, I'll soon lose interest in TG.

IMHO the nnew TG was never an 'informative auto show' which by the way, FG is. TG was allways about mucking about and having a great time which it should continue to be. Not another boring motoring show.

I believe that they have designed the new format of Top Gear in such a way that it appeals to all kinds of people, who may or may not be petrolheads. In this way they can reach more audiences and be more popular.

I have shown Top Gear to my friends who have no interest in cars and they liked it immensely, because of the jokes and the insanity.

Fifth Gear on Channel Five is more of a hardcore car show and meant for automotive enthusiasts.

It never was informative, jezza's view = useful car information in parallel universe, not on earth

James May tells in some old episode, Classic car is like the stock market, If Jeremy is buying you sell, if he sells you buy.

yes, FG for the win, sometimes they do get boring, remove that squeeling VbeecH(VBH for u minions) and Johnny smith gets quite irky at times, the way he says his lines(swallowing half the words) and looks around like he just made the statement of the century.

Needle+Plato+Tom = winning combo, and bring back Jon Bentley please!

May be that's the case. In olden days, it was not possible for everyone to get plethora of knowledge from online forums, internet etc. Nowadays, with little patience, every detail of cars can be researched online. So, producers need to invent ways to attract people.

I like the Polar Challenge special. It was really wonderful. However, the format of recent shows is very boring. I can't tolerate the "star in a reasonably priced car" part.

They do not show it in India.. The only way to catch it is YouTube or download it from Final Gear.

@rosh- Please go through the entire forum. This question has been put up several times.
