Am I the only one who is finding it to be a little too aggressive to pass of as an executive sedan or a luxury car. I dont like it at all...... will prefer the current 5 series to this anyday.

Oh! I miss Bangle..
That 7 series like monstrous grille looks pathetic.
Headlamps and rest are okay. But the headlamps of the current 5 beat it anyway.
I'll miss the current 5.And Bangle..

I have doubts over the two pics as which one is actual and which one is the artist rendition. Below are some more pics which I have found on the Internet, esp the fourth one as it matches with the first pic by Sid. The first three below matches with the one posted by jkdas. Check out the bonnet dip around the BMW Logo.

AltoHoncho, there seem to be three different front ends there. The headlights or the grille/bumper sections are different in all three.

Well this one looks more likely to be the X6 than a 5 series sedan

This one looks killer & matches with Sid's pic

the current gen. is like 'GOD', and this one is no where near to it.

The next will become tomorrow's current. Almost. Though I agree with Technocrat, the grill in last pic makes it look like X6 or a bit too tall. But the two different color BMWs are indeed different models too, or only one of them is real. Several differences in details.

They've toned down the rear lights. I prefer the rear lights of the current gen.
Front looks smashing though

Looks menacing with its Dracula like teeth (vertical fins in front grille), the bottom air intake has the claws or fangs, hooded and slanted eyes are terrifying and open doors make up the large wings of this flying monster.

Does not fit the profile of a luxry car at all. It has to be an out and out performance car. My son in U.K. is planning to replace his 5 series and has been considering new E 350 and Masareti. I will mail this link to him.
