A few spy pictures of the 2009 Porsche Boxter S and the 911 Turbo Cabriolet. In keeping up the Porsche designing tradition both cars looks almost 100% percent similar to their present models. However I must admit i quite like the new tail-lights on both cars.

AutoCar India mentions that this generation of 911 is quite green and also mean. I hope they manage to live upto the promise of Green machines.

Its just your perception buddy ! The rear does look neat especially in the last pic. Nice find there buddy!

Its not your perception. Front and Rear alloys are different in most Porsche's and other high end supercars. The wheels are wider and deeper than the ones on the front. The Design is the same when viewed dead ahead but from these angles you can make out the difference

On Cayman enthusiasts website caymanclub.net, a few artists renderings have surfaced of what appears to be the 2010 Porsche Cayman S and 2010 Porsche Boxter S. The initial reaction is this is the work of a budding designer, but the fellas over at Jalopnik have gained a bit of inside intel stating that these accurately depict what the final models will look like.
The facelifted models are likely to see similar changes as seen in the recently revealed 911 Carrera which should see some additional tuning to the powertrains. The Cayman S will be boosted to 320hp and 273 lb-ft of torque whilst a bit a German engineering magic will see a improved fuel economy and emission figures.

Spies posted around the Nurburgring have caught what's likely to be the next generation Porsche 911 undergoing testing. The 998 mule is wearing modified 997 body work, with the addition of blistered wheel arches hinting at a widened track and a makeshift wing providing additional downforce. According to KGP, the quad exhaust tips pulled from the Carrera S aren't fitted as flush as the 997 model, so space is likely tight in the rear, while the roll cage proves that the new platform is still in its infancy. Expect the 998 911 to debut late in 2010

I must say I like those gunmetal rims on the new 998. But everything else pretty much looks the same to me from the current generation.

How much more power do you think they can extract out of that diminutive 3.6L boxer-6.
