That's the Euro Civic..........India will get the american version which is sedan/coupe. I think the coupe looks the best and the hatch is the ugliest as usual. Here are pics of the american versions. Euro version will be offered with Honda's in-houe diesel.

New Honda Civic

Finally the new Honda Civic was unveiled by Honda to the world. check out the pics:

Civic 2 Door Coupe

Civic Sedan

Civic Interiors - EEK! Honda botched up the instrument cluster big time. Whats with those gaudy lights?

My initial impressions:
1. I prefer the coupe over the sedan. The sedan is too boring for me.
2. The interiors seem okay but the instrument cluster is weird. And please honda, change those gaudy lights. And whats the crescent shaped display over the speedometer? Couldn't they integrate their display's into the normal 3 pod one?

Full details of the car here

I personally like the previous generation better...but i guess this design will grow on me with time. The interior looks great on the other hand.

About those instrument lights....it could learn a thing or two from the current accord.
This one is just too loud if you know what i mean.

Coming back to the interiors, the design and shape of the dashboard is the same as the current civic. Even the HVAC controls seem to be more or less the same. They have a new instrument cluster, steering, gear shift. Of course, the space may be more then the current civic but overall they haven't touched the interiors much.

Interior is radical change. Only thing carryover is Honda's corporate radio used in the Fit/Jazz.
