2006 Honda Civic - Concept to production

Honda previewed it's new hatch civic concept for the European market at the Geneva Auto show. Though it's a concept, honda says this design is very close to how the new civic will actually look like. I am disappointed with the design. The side profile looks good but front and rear are no good. Check out pics:

Yikes!First the NHC and now the Civic, what are they upto man.
Looks very very korean.Civics are respected worldwide for its sheer presence on road and that delicious engine under the hood.I feel the chaps at Hondas have got it all wrong with this one.A real disaster.I just hope this stays a concept and Honda re-works the design and gets back the 'Civic' identity.Else its lost forever.

I'd take this one [not over the Type R though], it looks much sportier and what is that??

Honda Accord Inspired??? The doors? tail lights? head lights?

Yuk. So much for wanting to buy the civic when it come here... after seeing the NHC and then this, I'm quite sure that HOnda is going to have to start from scratch. All of Honda's image will go with these 'new' and 'superior' cars...
Good thing I'm not selling my City.

Man, the Civic is UUUGLYYY!!!

Well, Lookie what I found while googling for the next Civic. Are these spy shots of the 2006 Honda Civic?

Judge for yourself.

It seem's quite large, and does reflect the new Honda rear end treatment as seen on the spy pics of the Accord. Or is this actually the Accord itself? That Honda City-ish wing mirrow says otherwise.

The current Civic looks a lot better than that, it looks very weird and ugly.
