This vehicle could prove to be the ultimate blend of utility and performance in the world of luxury SUVs

It was announced at the Paris auto show that Audi will, indeed, introduce a sport-utility dubbed the Q7. This large SUV is based on the Pike's Peak quattro concept which appeared in Detroit in 2003, although it will share its platform with the Volkswagen Touareg as well as the Porsche Cayenne. The Q7 will feature five doors and seven seats, divided up among three rows of seating. Power will come from the company's 4.2-liter V8 powering 500hp. The Q7 will be positioned in Audi's lineup between the A6 and A8. Expect pricing to be in the $60,000 range.
