It is for sure not going to be a Miura. I remember reading an article about it and it is not going to be any kind of a Retro comeback. It is going to be a totally new vehicle

some detective work on lambo forum figured this is going to be called the URUS.

Urus is a really large bull that existed in europe in the earlier half of this millennia, it went extinct in 1600s sometime. Something similar can be seen in scandinavia but its still not as big.

They also figured Lambo has bought lamborghini-urus.com or something similar confirming the name of the new car.

So based on type of the bull you can imagine it be a 4 door coupe or an SUV. It would make less sense to use this name(no matter how comical) on a 2+2 or a sub G car..

So mystry solved. Autoblog took that story from lamboforum and posted it today.

It was going to be the LP640 SV but that will be release next year spring time to go on sale around Fall '09, a 2 yr run before the new Murci successor comes long.

Third teaser image leaks of Lamborghini ‘Urus’ four-door sedan

Lamborghini recently released two teaser photos of a model set to debut at next month’s Paris Auto Show, and a third image has now surfaced on the internet. Rumors have been swirling that the new car will be Lamborghini’s next supercar or a hopped up version of a current offering, but all signs indicated that Lamborghini’s next offering will be a four-door model.

According to Automotive News, the newest Lamborghini will be a four-door sedan, much in the same vein as the upcoming Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide. Like those aforementioned cars, the new model will have a heavy emphasis on performance while still being able to carry four — or possibly five — in luxurious style.

Unlike Lamborghini’s current offerings, the new sedan — rumored to be named ‘Urus’ — is slated to use a front-engine layout. However, Lamborghini’s signature all-wheel drive will be a part of the sedan’s package. The newest teaser shot gives us a view of the new Lambo’s taillight sections, which appears to have a cutout line for a trunk — further indicating a front-engine setup.

According to inside sources, the new sedan will likely ditch Lamborghini’s current gas-guzzling engine offerings. While even Lamborghini’s smallest V10 offering is probably off the table, an Audi-sourced direct-injection, twin-turbocharged powerplant should ensure the new sedan is up to Lamborghini performance standards.

Lamborghini will also lean heavily on parent Audi for the underpinnings of its new model. While the Panamera will do with a steel platform, the Lamborghini sedan will ride on the upcoming Audi A8’s all-aluminum space frame, allowing for a lower curb weight and improved performance and fuel economy numbers.

Lamborghini expects the new model to more than double the company’s current sales, with the sedan earmarked for 3,000 annual sales. Through the first six months of the year, Lamborghino sold just over 1,300 units.

No word on pricing but the new model is said to be debuting in production form, which means sales could begin as early as 2009.

Badboy, I have to say, that's well thought out. Add a Lambo emblem in the centre and widen it a bit with matching tyres, and you could sell this off as a teaser worldwide. Propaaa.

i thought of widening it a bit but the teaser pics (exhaust pic and the stop light pic) were exactly proportionate to each other, they fit into each other puzzle pieces. maybe i have to tweak the tyres a little bit.

Man those tires are wide.

Good thing Lamborghini is coming out with a 4 door cruiser, to compete with the likes of Bentley, BMW, MB, etc.
