By the way my pal is the chairman of the Beetle Club of india had designed the A/C set up in early 80's and sent the design to VW who certified it. This setup works but only in the short term, in the medium term not really as they have fitted 10 such mods to beetles in the last 2 decades. For example to many variables if it works well in Mumbai the same setup will not work in Pune, if you get the cooling right the pickup gets severly compromised, if that is fixed there is heating despite fans so not relaible/consistant. They tried oil coolers as well. The longest fittments lasted on 2 cars with higher spec/capacity engines those too were taken out after 5 years as the exact balance could never be found. best of luck

You are right, its very difficult to get the perfect balance when it comes to air conning these bugs. i have an engine in spare just in case i pop this one.
and the SL is RHD not converted, if it were LHD, the wipers would be sitting on the right side..or opposite side of the driver. they sit almost on eachother like many other mercs, namely the w126, w116 etc

Just loved the way the SL looked standing next to supra . Both are fast machines but the regal stance of SL is simply breath taking and red is suiting the car a lot.

As others had mentioned , hats off to you !

Well if you google pics of sl's you will see what I mean, all US spec cars have their wipers on the drivers side. Funny thing is even the rhd have them on the left so it is classic no retooling done my MB/germansof the 70/80's

That immaculate, glossy Supra looks like it's just out of the factory! Awesome collection Asad, hats off! Why not share the pics of your Kolkata cars as well.

Hey chargerman, you've got a wonderful & exclusive collection. What made you add one more Patrol to your garage? (you already had one). And can you please post more pics of your cars, especially your Charger.

Good God! How on Earth did I miss this? One of the best garages I've seen! Superb stuff, Chargerman! Every car in your garage commands respect.

There is not one car that I don't like in your list! The Charger is brilliant! Nice to see a muscle car kept stock! The Beetle looks fantastic and those Fuchs looks like they've been nicked off a Porsche!

The Exige, the Patrol, the Supra and the Mercedes SL complete the list! Hats off to you!
