Go and read it again. It's adding DIESEL (jeans) brand impact on 500 its not diesel(gasoline)...

It is Fiat 500byDiesel and not Fiat 500Diesel.

Just imagine how many people are going to put wrong fuel in the car! Every year estimated 125,000 people mis-fuel in UK.

You bet! My cousin in Florida bought a new Honda Pilot (Big B of CRV) and filled it with Diesel (Self service in FL). Though the knob of diesel pump is bigger than petrol in US but he took all the effort to put in diesel

Guess what! the whole engine siezed and it took $12000 for him to repair it starting from engine blocks to the exhaust. Luckily his insurance covered it and was told that this is the first case of its kind.

These FIAT people are crazy. remember they named a car Petra here and it came in 1.9 diesel.

IIRC they use to advertise it as " a petrol car that runs on diesel " or something like that
