If you are still refering to supercars, then the spoiler bodykit etc. are necessary to increase the performance and drop the lap-times. Besides, they usually don't look bad,IMO. I wouldn't want to see an EVO8 without a spoiler and bodykit.

Islero, the spoilers really come into play at speeds in excess of 200 kmph, by which time cars develop lift if they don't have the right kind of aerodynamic features to handle the speed. Downforce is critical.

In case of scoops, it has more to do with cooling and better air-flow to the engine to improve performance. Remember, tuning a car to that levels means that engines are highly stressed and such features aid their performance levels.

Do you guys really think so?

OK Lets take the Hamann 360, for example.

The Ferrari 360 had been designed with very advanced aerodynamics ( the entire underbody was shaped to perfection to allow airflow in such a way that it sucked the car down on to the road).
Because of this, the car needed no extreme aero aids externally to keep it stable at high speeds.

In a video of the Hamann 360 ( made by the company themselves), they admit that all the extra body kits theyve bolted are for "cosmetic" purposes. In other words, their contribution to high speed stability is negligible.
Now you tell me, do you really find those body kits attractive. do you really think they improve the design of such a beautiful car?
