Ugly. Period.

Nothing beats the original Palio. Those interiors would freshen up things though.

this is very similar to the current palio sold in india. i love the alloys though.

Fiat always manages to get the best looking alloys for their cars. i remember seeing the original 1.6 palio alloys back in 2001 when it was launched. i was jus blown over oh so totally.

the nuovo palio 2010 looks jus plain awful, those headlamps surely dont look the part. Maybe this was designed by some in house brazilian team.

the only thing the car needs in india is a new dash layout and interiors. that would bring the sales chart up rising again.

Looks plain ugly compared to the 1st generation.

IMO, all Palio needs is an interior overhaul and not an exterior facelift.

@Threadstarter - Do you have any interior pics?

NOVO simply means "New" in Portuguese.
Brazil's clean fuel ethanol technology and small car culture (point A to B) has made them self sufficient country, that no other nation is able to match!

HAHA

<sarcarm>

And dont dare associate the word "Ugly" with Brazil.

Brazil can easily define and teach a thing or two about "Beauty" to Indians.

</sarcasm>

I have a feeling this car will look fine in person.

If the spotting of this by @Die_Hard is true, then we ARE definitely seeing the "Fiat of the New Generation". Way too exciting. Some how the pics here looks better than the once I saw in the Fiat Brazil site. T

If they bring the 1.8R version with 115Bhp that'll blow the brains out of Indian Customers.

1st GEN Palios were the best of all no doubt about that..

This latest Palio is good looking except the headlights but if you look at it sideways, even a kind can easily find out the old lines which were thrown in almost a decade ago.

The car looks good but a little Chinese/Korean. Headlights are superb, almost Linea like.

OT: Techno, why don't you merge the 2 threads instead of locking the other one? Information discussed there will be lost otherwise.

Sorry to disappoint you mate but i saw this exact Palio being tested in Pune a couple of days back. I had started another thread to disclose this but was moved here.
I dont know the displacement numbers, but this is the exact car being tested right now. And it sure looked better than any of those small cars we have.
I personally liked it even though it was black-white striped test vehicle.

Are you kidding me? That's the first really ugly hatch Fiat has managed to design.
