Good sneak preview, indeed. However, can't make out much with the car covered. The shape looks a lot like the current SLK.
By the way, it is a 2012 SLK, not 2011 as the thread title says.

"The new SLK will also lose the Formula-One-inspired nose the current model has." In my opinion the nose on current SLK is a nice design touch and IMO Merc would have to come up with something really exciting to better the looks of current SLK.

The models in above inline images do not look like a vintage Merc. More like a Mustang. Lines and especially front seem more American muscle car than European refinement.

The front looks very similar to the Merc SLS IMO.
It looks much more sportier than the current SLK.

I noticed the SLS nose treatment as well (as mentioned in my previous post) but how on Earth did you spot the new ORVMs? You've got a great eye for small details! That's impressive dude!

Why they go for this wider grill treament,I feel smaller grill would look nice.
In the first pic the grill looks like a Dodge one with those camouflages.

Nothing very different or exciting!Defintely looks more sedate,while in comparision with other cars in the same segment ( Z4, and the likes)
