Arre by daewoo i mean GM Daewoo...and Opel's also from GM... so that makes Daewoo and Opel siblings... and hence the similarity.

Btw, there is a news article about GM considering buying Daewoo India's assets. They are "keeping all options open to make inroads into the small car segment."
Also.... and HOLD YOUR BREATH...they "might launch Cadillac and Hummer" ... although might is the operative word here.

Vulken, Surprise is kind of right pal... check out this link:

S&P cuts GM, Ford credit ratings to Junk!
Extract from article:
The S&P decision amounts to one more hit for two automakers that are losing market share at home to Asian competitors, seeing sales soften for their most profitable models and facing enormous health care and post-retirement liabilities. GM’s U.S. sales fell nearly 5 percent in the first four months of the year and Ford’s declined 4.2 percent

I posted a few days back on this forum that Ford was junk from 5 years, and they are restructuring it very often for a hit. I have done an analysis on both in my PHD in US so just needed to support his facts. As far as ford is concerened it will not die due to lots of reasons which are complex. It is the bread and butter for lots of people so government should bail it out
