The folks over at Car seem to have a different take on Ferrari’s future F450. While it’s believed the F430’s successor will have it’s 4.3-liter V8 enlarged by 0.2-liter to create 500 hp, there is now a suggestion that Ferrari may instead turn to turbocharging - reminiscent of the days of the 288 GTO.

One element that should be guaranteed in the F450 is better performance. Not only will it be more powerful than it’s predecessor, but the F450 should weigh less. This will include incorporating elements like the aluminium/composite honeycomb material picked up from the Mille Chili concept. Initial reports suggested that the new sports car would take advantage of the F1-inspired KERS energy recovery system, but it now seems that it won’t be ready for consumer use when the F450 debuts in 2010.

While many of the renderings we’ve seen have taken the F430’s body and made it sleeker, the version coming from Car suggests the F450 could go in another direction. While the F430/360 lineage is still recognizable, this car may get its aggression from sharp lines and creases.

Not a typical Ferrari flowing design..seems to be some flaw somewhere.
The front of the car is just messed up.

But the roof looks to be a bit too curvy.

Looks very swoopy but a better bet than the angled design presented by car magazine. Am waiting for it to give the gallardo a serious fight.

They look like tri exhausts from the angle the first pic is taken. look closely you'll see the fourth pipe just behind the three. Tri exhausts will not be preferred as the symmetry is not right considering its a V8. Could be possible on engines with cylinders in multiples of three.

That looks like a fish . The design has emphasized too much of curves which is making it look ugly.
