Guys, each has his own way of looking at cars. If they think the way they do, it's ok. This is a very subjective topic. To each his own.

My masculine and feminine cars in the country are

Masculine

1.Any SUV
2.Any Merc breed
3.The Opel Vectra
4.The Honda City (old vtec)
5.The SKODA

Feminie Cars

1.Alto
2.The 800
3.The ZEN (if its not modded)
4.The SANTRO
5.The wagon R

Its very rare that we get to see ladies behind the wheels of masculine cars, but when we see them for real behind the wheels, its like a statement " we too can drive guys"

Behind every successfull man is a woman
Behind every successfull woman is a masculine car

Arent some people missing the point ?
What I think the guy who started the thread meant was which cars have masculine looks and which have feminine...or thats what my interpretation is...some have posted cars which are driven by males and females!

For me..

Masculine cars:
Lamborghinis
Ford Mustang
BMW M3/M5
Ferrari F40
Mitsubishi Lancer Evos

Feminine:
Audi TT Coupe
Porsche Boxster/911 cabriolet
Suzuki Ignis/Swift
Toyota Celica
VW Jetta/Bora

They can't? The very first Maybach sold in India is owned by a 18 year old woman, I am sure she drives it.

She drives it only on an empty peace of road but when it comes to parking and City driving her Rs.30000PM paid driver does the job.. lol
Its owned by her as in gifted by her dad to her and her dad cant afford to keep the cars on his name since his money is well black..

Well Samurai who knows white or black but he was caught in some scam or something and he hid in dubai i guess..

Also first Phantam has become national news.. Poonawalla of Stud farms in Pune has bought it..

Can't agree with that logic. It was a very high profile buy, was on every newspaper. Everybody knows it was gifted by the dad. The girl obviously can't claim it was her money. It must have been a white money purchase.

Yes, what I meant that cars that instantly strike you as a macho or feminine the moment you look at them. Like the Dodge Ram, which is unashamadely macho, while cars like the new Beetle (esp. in bright colours) look instantly feminine. By masculine or feminine cars, I mean the personality of the car, and not of its driver.

Yes sajo..thanks for the clarification...
some seem to think that women cant drive certain cars ....HUH ?
we are in the 2005 people....there have even been women Formula One drivers....I would hazard a guess that those cars are tougher than Maybachs to drive...:\

And who might that be? Don't say "Sarah Fisher" coz she's not an F1 driver.

And one more thing, some people are just having an impression that bigger cars/SUVs have to be masculine ones... this may be their personal opinion, but not neccesary true... some BIG cars from Hyundai do look feminine (at least to me that is.. )

I know who Sarah Fisher is....and although she has done demonstration runs in a McLaren Mercedes F1 car I'm not saying she is a F1 driver.

I could only remember an Italian , Giovanni Amati in the past..
some googling helped me find the others..(which I knew existed)

1958: Maria Teresa De Filippis - 4 GPs
1975-76: Lella Lombardi - 12 GPs
Drivers who failed to qualify: Giovanna Amati , Davina Galica, Desiré Wilson
(This was when they had a huge field and the 107% rule for qualifying)
