If anybody has doubts about women in motorsport, I'd be more than happy to lend them videos of a certain Michelle Mouton in action, driving the wheels off Audi Quattro in Rally Championships. Dayum...she can drive.
The others I can think of are Katja Poedgsen (?) who used to race 125 or 250cc bikes. And what is the name of the lady who drove a VW Touareg buggy in the Paris-Dakar rally? Too lazy to Google...

ported - of course Michelle Mouton *thumbs up*

currently there are plenty of women in near top level motorsport..Danica Patrick in champcars, Sarah Fisher in IRL, Milka Duno (drove in GT and ALMS)
