engines: 2.4 theta 2 dual VVT, 2.4 theta 2 GDI (Korea/ USA), 2.0 turbo I-4 (North America)
Markets: Americas (sonata), Africa (sonata), Asia (sonata/i45), Oceania (i45).
Coming to India in January 2011.
Engine will most probably be the 2.4 theta 2 dual vvti with 180 plus hp.
price band: 16-19 lakhs, upper D segment, competing with accord, camry, teana and superb.

The Hyundai Sonata is a nice car. The first thing you will notice is the butter smooth steering. Then the space and the new feel interiors and exteriors. The milage this baby gave me is 24 mpg inside and 35 on the freeways. Good acceration and great pick up. Its a winner here.
