| BHPian  | 2006 Ferrari 600 Imola Check out this Upcoming Ferrari........Scoop pics.  Ferrari is developing a successor to the current 575 Maranello, which has been on the market since 1996. Various prototypes are currently being tested in and around Ferrari's hometown, as can be seen on the photos. The new vehicle, code-named F139 and designed by Pininfarina, sits on the shortened platform of the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, which makes the next 575 M considerably bigger, providing a roomier passenger cabin and a larger luggage compartment. The engine, based on the 5.75-liter V-12 from the Scaglietti, has been bored out to 6.0 liters and will deliver between 580 and 600 hp. According to rumours, the name of the new model could be 600 Maranello or Imola, and it is expected to be released in 2006.
