[pics] 20-year old Corvette uncovered with 3300 miles on it

Hey everyone, I visit this site often, but I am from the USA. I thought you all might like this - I have a 1989 Corvette here with 3300 original miles on it. It's never been left outside, it spent its entire life indoors in storage. Now it's covered in dust, although it's literally brand new. The interior smells new, and I'm getting it ready for the road again. Here are some photos, enjoy:

Engine as it is today, 5.7 liter Tuned Port Injected L98. It's never been detailed from the factory, never touched, ever. It's dusty, and will clean up easily.

As it sits, note dust on windshield. Interior is literally new. Paint is perfect. The car needs to be detailed from years of dust gathering on it.

Superb car! The ZR1 version of the Corvette C4, can walk into my list of all time favourite supercars. Even the current ZR1 is wonderful.
If it's dusty, please get it cleaned and run it regularly. You should not keep such a beast caged for long.

20 year old CORVETTE and just 3300 miles . Whats the reason for the car staying indoors?? She looks fantastic man. Black and Red theme gels well (errr.. except the red seats, could have been a bit different). Some good front and side pics please .

Thanks everyone, this is a very interesting site - I hope to post much more as I bring this car back to life. Just a few days ago I installed a new battery and the car's electronic instrument panel came to life. It sort of reminds me of Star Wars. I plan on starting it this week and I'll pull it out of storage, detail it, and take some photos. An interesting side note, according to the RPO codes, this car has a 2:59 rear axle ratio - very unusual.

Wow. That surely is bling bling.

Would you like to state the reasons why was this beast chained for 20 years.

Please follow proper procedure to bring back this car and engine to life.
*Remove spark plugs and add a hint of oil into the cylinders since it would be bone dry in there.
*Coolant might not be coolant anymore
*Go through the Gearbox and differential lubricants once.

Naaice! The red leather looks fabulous and it's stunning to think how this car is almost as old as I am. Keep it running and healthy and welcome aboard. I see you have some other muscle cars like the Mustang and the Camaro - good stuff, would appreciate a few pics of those too. Lastly, I see you have a penchant for BMX racing. Sweet!

Nice car may be a rare example. The American pop song " Lil Red Corvette" of the 1980's, by PRINCE, may have been sung for this car!
