Hey all.These are a few so called "Japanese Supercars" to be launched soon.Available are the specs,which were limited.And also the approximate launch time.Which 1z urs???

Mazda Miata - 2005 end.
1.8L - 150hp
2.0L - 170hp

Mitsubishi Eclipse - 2005 mid.
3.0L - 270hp

Toyota Supra - 2007 mid.
3.5L - 400hp

Subaru Impreza wrx - 2006 end.
2.0L - 260hp-290hp(estimated)

Mitsubishi Evolution IX - 2005 mid
2.0L - 290hp

why is subaru going the audi way?

?? it totally transforms the way i look at the car. got hit by that look immd.......subaru in the current avtaar..any day over the rest but not this !!

i wud pick the lancer evo...though somwhere loooking at it im reminded of the NHC ..but of the above 4 ..the evo is the 1 i will go for.

the eclipse will have me take my own sweet time to decide if the way it looks appeals to me or not.

the supra somewhere reminds me of the aston martin..

the miata ...hmm looks not my kind.

these comments based purely on the first impressions of how the car looks.

Man....those cars are nothing close to looking good.........is this the beginning of the future cars?? The Miata looks ok and the Supra is kinda ok.....but the rest aren't my type at all.

Supra "1st" pic looks like some TVR and the 2nd one reminds me of the Aston Martin Vanquish.

In simple, they all look worse than the present versions.

Any of the final three will do. Primarily because of what they are capable of.

But whats up with Subaru designing only weird looking Imprezas? I fell in love with the front clean rectangular treatment of the real early Imprezas (the gen before the bug eyes). A college friend was gifted one by her uncle (lucky her) and she was kind enough to drop me home before I got my Accord. That car had the cleanest lines I have ever seen on any Impreza.

And whats happened to the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Isnt it the same as the 3000 GT. The rear quarter pic looks like a DC Infidel.

From all the above,i just like the Evo.
Would`nt mind buying the Supra for the performance.
Impreza - somethings terribly wrong.
Eclipse - Looks like a design by sum DC-inspired-Jap.
Miata`s cute......
