Its actually 9 km straight track at the VW Ehra facility in Wolfsburg, Germany.

If that sentence is for me then i have mentioned it earlier that my friend gave me that pic when he visited Dubai last Jan.
I asked my friend the same question and he said that he was getting late for something,so he rushed taking this only pic.

wonder what would be so important than checking out the world's fastest car.

HOW COME NONE OF YOU GUYS NOT NOTICE SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE ?? in the first batch of pics, you can see that the veyron had air dams behind the front wheel. this isnt stock now is it??
@yatin: was the bugatti a special edition of some sort??

after what seemed like years of googling, i finally found a veyron with similar looking air vents near the wheel. now im pretty sure that this is a limited edition veyron. there seems to be some sort of signature under the air vent on this one, perhaps indicating it is a special edition. also theels look wheels look different on this one.

Dude I do not think its custom The Bugatti Veyron comes in many variants.
Not just special edition.
This particular one WITHOUT the air vents is called "Fbg par Hermès"

And the one WITH the Air Vents is available with the other variants EB 16.4 upwards, with costs ranging from GBP 840000...

Yeah you are right about that. Its the Volkswagen Group's private Ehra-Lessien test track.The top speed of the car is actually 407.9 Kph (As tested by James May a.k.a. Capt. Slow, Top Gear nov 2006).
